One of our favorite times of the year are when we get to step out on a golf course and meet the tech community in Portland, Oregon. Last week was the 14th Annual Portland Society for Information Management (SIM) Golf Tournament at Stone Creek Golf Club and we had a blast getting to know different companies in the area as well as enjoying the last days of summer. This Golf Tournament is one of SIM’s largest fundraisers raising scholarship funds for Technology students at University of Portland, Oregon State University, Oregon Institute of Technology, and Washington State Vancouver.
Besides the wind, this year was the best one yet with food carts on the course and our promise of delivering the best IPA available. We had Three Creeks Raptor Rye IPA and definitely lucked out with fried chicken and honey and Louisiana style sausage and beans across the way from the Retrolicious food cart.
It’s exciting to hear all about the growth opportunities that are available right here in our backyard and to be part of some of that success through staffing is more than we could ever ask for. Thanks everyone for a great tournament and cheers to a promising end to 2015!
