A recent NBCNews/Wall Street Journal poll has addressed an important question: Do Americans know how Obamacare will affect them? The survey states that 30 percent say they understand how the law will affect them, while 69 percent say they do not know.
Other key findings from the survey are listed below:
- 31 percent say Obamacare is a good idea, 44 percent say it’s a bad idea (declined 36 percent since first polled three years ago).
- 23 percent say the law will have a positive impact on the overall healthcare system.
- 12 percent say it will have a positive impact on their family.
- 52 percent believe the cost of their healthcare will go up as a result of Obamacare.
